Hope the ankle heals quickly, btw!

Once I adjusted the steering wheel to match my arm length it was great... before I did that my hands were going numb (I didn't realize in addition to tilt it is telescopic). I had the seat laid back a bit more then my normal driving posture as there isn't really any lumbar support to speak of.

I folded down the rear seat and slept on that+inside the trunk, plenty of room if you curl a little for a 5'11" guy. The only thing I didn't really different from a normal trip is that I kept on shifting gears and varying the RPMs... Also to practice driving a stick (I own two bikes so the theory is the same but the mechanics are different) I would pull off the freeway randomly and practice coming to a stop and starting again... I popped the clutch twice but otherwise I think I have the hang of it now.

Nice, I'll keep the seat and wheel adjustment in mind for my drive. Good to know that I can crash in the back in a pinch too, I'm only 5'4 so it sounds like I'll have plenty of room to stretch out! :P

Congrats! (on everything but the rolled ankle)

Be grateful that it happened after you got home. Imagine if it happened when you stepped off the airplane! :P
