Picked it up yesterday On the way home from the dealership, we stopped at Oroville Dam, and my wife took some pictures. It's a little dirty from the 3 hour drive and a little rain. My 15 year old son rode from Walnut Creek to Oroville, and my 12 year old daughter rode from Oroville to our house in Paradise. They both loved the car! My wife still hasn't ridden in it. I better make that happen before the first payment!

Already have the Perrin 3.0 catback, water pump pulley, alternator pulley and strut tower brace installed.

Has anyone had any luck raising the front of the seat (tilting the bottom back)? I noticed on the long drive home from the dealership that my Siatica flared up a little. I'm 6'2" and even with the seat all the way back, I'm still sitting on my gluteus maximus with not much support under my hamstrings.

Sorry the pictures are a little small, I'm still learning.
How does the Perrin exhaust sound? Looking into which system I want for my 2017. Been thinking about Perrin, Greddy, or HKS.

Have you had a listen to the corsa system? They look and sound really good, but I haven't listen to many, I haven't seen corsa mentioned much, do people not like it?

I'm getting LOTS of dust.

And to be honest, I don't even feel that the brakes are that great. They seem to be just like regular. I expected much better stopping power.

Change the pads.

BBK doesn't necessarily mean "better" stopping power.

I'll try new pads. It's not the fact that theyre BBK, but that theyre 4 piston upfront and the diameter of the disc is larger. Which should equate to better stopping power.

Maybe I just need better pads than stock.

Are we talking about full on threshold braking or just initial bite?

I haven't seen any real track reviews of the Performance Package yet, so nothing for me to really compare it to.

For just regular every day braking there's no problem.

But when I tried testing the brakes by braking hard, the car doesn't seem to slow down as fast as I expect them to given how forceful I was with the brake pedal.

was ABS kicking in? I'm thinking it might be the limitations of the tire. either that or you would probably need to "break" in the brakes (I was gonna say pads but I couldn't resist)

With a BBK you shouldn't expect an increase in stopping power. Your stopping power is -always- limited to the traction of your tires.

A BBK increases fade resistance and keeps the brakes more consistent over long stints of aggressive driving.

Also as another person noted, brakes do take time to bed in. The response of the brakes should improve over time.

This. They are probably only around 10-15% stronger than stock, but certainly give a more even application of force, are lighter, and much better at fighting heat and fade when on the brakes over and over and over again.

i watched five videos on brake fluid. It was not exactly fascinating. I wonder why companies just do not all use 5.1 fluid in their lines. Seems like it would be a nice minuscule selling tidbit. From what I read, it would be impossible to know if 5.1 vs 4 was used. When i get my car, I will swap out the fluid fairly soon to 5.1. I would like to put these brembo's to the test.
