By the time you buy and install all the components to bring it up to a Monogram you could have just bought a Monogram in the first place. Of course the problem now may be finding one.

Easy. BRZ limited has all the amenities and there are plenty

If I totaled my car tomorrow I would walk into the dealer the same day and drive away in a new one with exactly the same mods I have without losing a penny. All for about an extra $100 a year.
The insurance company will not fix the car if it exceeds their dollar value just because you want them to. That is not how it works.
I don't question your knowledge on the matter... but I do have GAP coverage when I purchased my Monogram new from Scion.

Here's what GAP insurance is really for :
https://www.esurance.com/info/car/my...ny-totaled-car

And there lies the misunderstanding most people have about GAP coverage. GAP wouldn't have helped me one bit being that I owe the finance company $13k and the ACV on my car is $18k on KBB in it's previous excellent condition. GAP only kicks in it I owed more than the ACV.

Like I previously stated. I've already paid off $20k of the $33k I borrowed from the finance company. Reason why i'm going back and forth with Farmers to OK the repairs. The current Repair cost hasn't gone near the dollar value of my car. They simply want to total it based on minor frame damage according to Farmers. They said two thing that will most of the time total a vehicle is airbag deployment and frame damage. Maybe its how I conveyed the sentencing... but I never mentioned I wanted Farmers to cash me out on all the aftermarket item. I simply asked Farmers if I would be able to remove said item for the OE parts I still have.

I appreciate the input.

I just prefer the FRS's front end over the BRZ's.

Bumper swap? if you have enough trouble finding another monogram it might be easier

Being in socal you could probably find someone willing to trade

I'm really picky when it comes to aftermarket parts. I simply will not buy a knockoff if I can buy the real deal. That's just me though. My friends call me a "BRAND NAME WH*RE"

Just like my track car... it doesn't need two $2300 each Bride seats but that's what I chose to buy. Or a Formula Mugen valve cover instead of a standard Type R cover. I'm no baller by any means. I just like quality.

I thought about this option. My only concern is if the headlight wiring will be similar to the Monogram's. Being the BRZ has a different light setup.

Ah. That I dont know. Would probably need to to go a meet and compare. Both HID but the BRZ has DRLs in a different spot if you have to have the monogram headlight

In my opinion the GT86 headlights are still the best looking OE headlights offered.

Shit I didn't even think about the push start and the light up cabin. Usually most of the upgraded features have an unused plug/space for a button/etc. but some of that sounds like it could be a pretty big pain to try and figure out.

That can come back and bite you sometimes though. Most of those Bride seats aren't even FIA approved so all you're really buying is a name and one of their goofy color schemes.

Ya I may have misread what you meant to say there. This makes much more sense.

Although my Bride Gias seats aren't FIA approved... most racing venues I participate in don't require it. The one's I have were purchased some years ago when they first appeared on the market. OG V1 Gias Low Max. I don't think Bride got their seats FIA approved till some time later. Plus I'm a short guy 5'4" and felt too short (couldn't see over the steering wheel) with full buckets and rails offered at the time. They don't look too goofy imo
