Nice! I ordered a White BRZ PP on 1/16 and my VON shows End of May. Hmmm, what kind of connections do you have? Haha.

And the lip looks great ... now I must decide if I want it purchased and installed pre-pickup.

Honestly I don't think they're pulling strings though. May seems like an awfully long way out. Keep in touch with your retailer. Hopefully you get surprised too!

Anyway, just sent an email to my guy for an update again since it's been almost two weeks. He's usually off Wednesday/Thursdays though so I probably won't hear anything till Friday.

My car finally arrived today and I picked it up tonight. Woo!

Car is awesome, but there is a lot more vibration in the steering wheel on the highway than I expected. Is that normal on these cars?

Okay,

So i had some time this morning in the shop before anyone else showed up to pull off a 2017 PP wheel, and weigh it. Wheel and tire looks to be 42lbs.

By some deep...deep extrapolation I have determined the wheel itself is right around, exactly 22 lbs, approximately.
Of course these are filled with nitrogen and nitrogen is a gas. And gas weighs about 7 or 8 lbs a gallon soooo....

Oh man that looks way more sinister with a simple crop! Gonna keep this as an example of how things can be edited to look totally different than they are.

Let the tires wear in a bit. It will level out. The fact it would be colder out doesn't help either.

Fwiw I think my guy has gotten annoyed with me asking even though I've only asked like three times total. Yesterday's response was just "no update until the end of the month" rather than his usual response which is the full status page.
