RR racing BBK - 4 pistons

Does anyone own this set? http://www.rr-racing.com/RR-Racing-F...gt86fbk005.htm. Is this a direct bolt on? unlike the Wilwood set that is missing 4 bolts

really good price $795

In response to your question, I have that exact kit and yes, it is direct bolt in. Install took me and my friend around 6 hours but much of that was us figuring out how to install it (we haven't done anything beyond oil/pad/fluid changes before) and fighting rusted bolts (Winter driven Canadian car, moderate rust) for the brake lines.

I think someone who is more experienced working on cars and doesn't have to fight with as much rust as us should be able to get through this job in about 2 hours.

just make sure that you download the brake template and test fit it with your wheels prior to hitting the buy button

@Lorico FYI those calipers won't clear stock wheels. I inserted total of 13mm spacers (10mm + 3mm). Otherwise, it bolts right in and great value for the money.

Perfect. I own and will probably track my xxr 527. They're 18x8.75. So I'm almost positive they would fit.

Thanks guys!

your wheel offset is just as important as the wheel width. and you really want to track on those heavy wheels? you'd be better off tracking stock wheels with spacers (if you're going to be running this brake kit).

At this point, I don't really want to pass judgement. They work and the rotor and caliper look good from the outside but my brakes are pulsing and because it's the dead of winter here, I haven't been able to diagnose the problem yet. It could be related to salt/corrosion or it could be something else. I'll have a good look once it warms up in the spring and I'll properly diagnose the problem and post my findings when I do it. I'll take some pictures too
