Interesting, the Jalopnik Review also hinted at an upcoming BRZ

Quote:
Subaru can’t make a better BRZ without leaving behind this “perfect balance” mantra and going full crazy, climbing on to a higher price point and adding WRX power.

Which won’t happen. Or it just might, later this year. Perhaps I’ve said too much...

We're starting to sound like the WRX STI guys hoping for an engine update

I can't imagine wanting an engine update when a simple e85 gasoline tune and UEL headers seems to fix any issue with power and torque band.

Sarcasm? What if you don't have access to E85 or like more than a 300 km range?

When they say "perhaps I said too much" it's because they know they're stretching out the truth into false.

Oh no it is because they have lunch with the CEOs of the car companies everyday and know everything.
Love how they either never reveal their "source" or just use real statements out of context or edited to sound like something else. Anybody that really knows anything won't say and anybody that will say anything doesn't really know.

LOL Read some old threads. People were after an engine upgrade before they knew what engine it was going to be!

Perhaps a tS although the PP sort of fills that niche a bit.
Although I have never driven any other frs or brz, the initial brake feel is very soft, it doesn't grab very hard, it makes smooth stops on daily driving very easy. But if you give it additional input after a certain point, the car quickly out brakes the tires grip with very good feedback and it's very progressive. Personally I really like the brake feel. But I'm no expert. Hope that helps
