The times I've moved to get closer to jobs, the jobs didn't last. Then again, I got my buddy to move to work for me, and now he's married and has worked for me for five years.

There's nothing I love more than having a deal set up through the forums classifieds, only to have the seller sell the item to someone else with zero notice to you. Third time it's happened to me in like, 8 months.

That's one thing making me nervous about moving far(ish) away, what if they decide I'm not a good fit? I'm not much of a risk taker, but on the occasions I do, I try to make sure of possible consequences that may come.

Make sure there are competitors in the area. If you get a bad feeling, you can always jump ship before things get actually bad.

Also, I'm not so sure about where this nation is going economically. If we get in a trade war, things could get bad real quick.
