In fact, there is. These weren't a thing the last time I was looking for door speakers.

Note the mounting depth; I don't know if they'll fit. Also, Crutchfield has them listed as 6-3/4". I'm not saying they won't work; I'm just pointing out things that will need more research to verify that they will work.

My first world problem is that after flashing the firmware on my S7 to get nougat, I have to relogin to every damn thing. Priorities are pointed and straight.

Then my FRS motor issues started happening, and most recently, it was given a new short block and driver side cam shafts and vvt gears. While the car was at the dealer for three weeks, I parked the loaner to the side and drove the Alfa every day.

I picked up my FRS today and I couldn't help but realize how soft and numb the steering felt and how quiet it was (the single exit Ft86speedfactory exhaust on it isn't all that quiet.)

That being said, oh what fun it is to be able to row my own gears again.
1. I applaud buying a 4C over a Cayman.
2. The FRS and 4C are, in my eyes, redundant. Variations on a theme.
3. Perhaps what you really want is an Elise? A manual and telepathic steering while rougher around the edges than a Cayman.

4. Install a sub and amp.

Is 1 Alpine not powerful enough to power all the speakers in the car?
I had one in my WRX and it seemed to be fine.

Last month I was driving at 2500' and hit snow on the return. I might make a couple trips a year to Redding. The lake is at 3000' and it gets snow. So I figured I'd get my money's worth if it means more mobility and saves me from one mistake.
Whoa, I noticed you finally bought a BRZ! You should've taken my FR-S off my hands, as a fellow early ft86club engine nerd you would've gotten a special price (I'm serious) :P Unless of course you don't want an FR-S, which is perfectly understandable.

If you want, I can send you my tune and throttle map that I used. I spent many days getting the throttle just right, and getting max efficiency out of the cam timing (I think the manifold vacuum reduction was a consistent 0.5-1psi or so, no combustion stability issues), plus several hours putting factory knock correction into the OFT stage 1 tune's timing map. I'm sure you'll like it when you take a look

Having Skyrim remastered is a dangerous thing for me. I've already invested far too much time into it. Goodbye real world.

So I would imagine these are 2 ohm speakers since they are plug and play and priced at like 2 grand?

Interesting it seems like Alpine F#1 Status is discontinued they must be broke or changed the name.

I put in 300 hours into my original playthrough on the xbox 360.. didnt even start the story and just played side missions. Accumulated the best armor (daedric iirc?) and about 3 million gold. Then I started school and never bothered to finish.

Good to see you back here, you sexy man~

Yup, finally after all these years. I had to get the BRZ though. Especially after being spoiled by some modern niceties with the Mazda3. It was cheaper/easier to get them from the factory from what I saw. There aren't any FRS/BRZ this far north or south so I had to buy way out of my area anyway. Down south wanted invoice, they couldn't beat Heubergers'. I'm not sold on the light blue but I like the underbody panels and the aero wing/spoiler. The old wing still looks ridiculous to me but I know it works.

I will have to get into tuning at some point. I asked about E85 at a local fuel retailer, Renners', and they haven't gotten back to me. They do racefuel up here so I might try shipped drums if I can. I used to only burn about 18-20 gallons of fuel a month. The Mazda3 got 37-38mpg. I just got 33.976 with the BRZ on the entire highway 36 stretch to bring it home. I could run 50/50 blends and make a 55 gallon drum last a couple months. E50 is the peak of the efficiency delta I think and air temps stay pretty low around here.

Good to know. If you suddenly start screaming that there are dragons chasing you we won't worry.

It's not that one isn't powerful enough to run everything; it's that there are six channels. I think WRX's have four, so a four channel amp would work just fine. A six channel amp would be ideal for our cars, but those are big and expensive.

So for our car, one four channel amp could run the dash and rear speakers. Powersports or motorcycle amps are often small enough to tuck in behind the radio, which is helpful because that's where the signal is. The other four channel amp gets bridged to two channels to run the door speakers. It can conveniently replace the OEM door amp in the trunk. Some people replace the doors and dash with a single component set, effectively converting their car to four channels, which means they can run everything with a four channel amp. Others disregard the rear speakers entirely and just push the dash and doors. You should watch the overall price tag though, because if it gets close enough to the OEM Audio+ price, I'd go with that instead, for the DSP.

Just met the mighty Paarthurnax this morning. Made me smile. Actually, a lot of things about this game make me smile. I went through a fairly shit part of my life and Skyrim made a lot of things better for me. I don't think I've ever been quite as emotionally attached to a game like this ever.

Except NHL 95 on the Sega. Lots of amazing memories of playing that game with my cousin, my uncle and my dad while my grandpa would sit on the couch and polish off a 40 of Canadian Club.

I am the same way with the Fallout series. Fallout 1 helped me keep my sanity when I was having some issues way back in the dark ages. I enjoyed Skyrim but not nearly at the same level as Fallout.
