A way to fix the problem is to pull the carpet back a bit and spray WD40 on the Christmas tree thing. You need the straw tip for the WD40. Just use your fingers to be sure you're spraying on the right spot. It's not squeaking any more for me!

It's still silent today as I drove to work Which I'm so happy about since I place my foot there 90% of the time. Honestly my car does not rattle at all and I've been putting on 20k/yr on roads that aren't in the best shape. It does have the fuel pump cricket noise though
