How does this plug into the amp in the trunk? I have a BRZ limited with a factory amp in the back.

It has a built-in 100W amp. It connects to the actual head unit. The installation is pretty straight forward, there are posts and videos about it. I bought my new from the dealer and I also had them install it for me. They didn't charge me allot for the install, so it was worth it to have them do it.
