We would gut them in half. But it was through shear volume of ire and had nothing to do with accuracy. The walk through, pop up smg/pistol ranges were a blast and I wold hit them at any opportunity. I don't know if anybody but the Special Ops (Canadian version and yes we have them too) guys get to do that anymore. Back the everybody was an infantry man first and a trade second so our cooks, drivers, mechanics, etc had to pass all the combat arms qualifications that your basic grunt did. We didn't have the luxury of numbers to survive by making noise until the infantry showed up.

They just passed a bunch of new laws banning simple features including bullet buttons and detachable magazines. Now anything with these features is considered an "assault weapon" in the state of California and requires registration. I don't have a personal M4 to practice with. I was thinking of getting a kit and building one. All the local shops were sold out of everything so I might have missed the boat. It's going to be a bunch of legal hoops to get one after the 21st. It's actually the 31st but there is a 10 day waiting period.

I'm also California National Guard in a POG unit. They gave us a little over a thousand rounds to qualify an entire company. Which it's a small unit but still. It took me three tries to qualify. And when I did it was 35/40. It had been months since I touched an M4 and I was extremely embarrassed.

Yup. You'll find you go to the bar less too cuz now it gets way more expensive or shittier tasting than your new norm lol.

I'm already finding it expensive. Bar is fun for social interaction but 7 dollars for a glass or a 6 pack for my favorite (or something new I want to try) where I can do 1 a day and stretch it for a week.

Plus, I hate loud places (except for concerts and the race track). Want to converse with people without yelling. Dunno how people visit bars every night.

But you may be too so that can go dreadfully wrong.

And if you need to wait for them to be drunk what does that say about your attractiveness to women!

Yeah, I had to find a new bar when my favorite local dive got super popular. Moved to another one that is more quiet. Also don't really go on weekends when it is packed. Usually just get a pitcher of 805 or Guinness and be done. At least around here going a lot during less busy times helps too cuz the bartenders get to know you better and hook you up on occasion which is nice. I actually dont like drinking at home really unless its a group hanging out
