That's kinda odd for them to replace a clutch disk. Since it's a "wear" item. Maybe try to get them to install the Velox fork and pivot while they are at it?

When I took my car in for warranty work, the dealership wouldn't give me a loaner. I had to rent a car for a couple of days. The service manager told me that they reserve loaners for their Lexus customers. HA! Never had problems getting a loaner from the FIAT stealership.

Yep. Toyota only gives a loaner if your car is in for a safety issue

I took it in for a bad ECU. I felt my safety was in danger.

The hell? Around here they won't do it unless required I guess.

There's the corporate policy and the local dealer's policy. If the dealer doesn't feel like expending the effort, they can stick to the corporate policy and say "that's what we're told." My dealer gave me a loaner when they replaced my seat cover, although I'm sure they weren't required to.

I think it's very dealer specific. We have a '98 Volvo that my youngest son drives. The local Volvo dealer's policy is that anytime they have to keep your car for more than 3 hours they will give you a loaner, even though we didn't buy the car from them.

Other dealers for other cars (Honda, Toyota, GM, Ford) in the area don't have loaners for pretty much anything. One or two have a shuttle service but that's about it.

My wife's BMW dealer will give her a loaner because we leased her car brand new from them. Her friend bought a used BMW there and doesn't get shit.

My Toyota dealers gave me a loaner every time they screwed up, which has been four times so far.
