So I'm working on installing the OEM Oil cooler, and after removing the skid plate, I notice this!

I take it, it's a head gasket leak? This wasn't hear last time I went under the engine... which was when I installed the Nameless headers about a year ago.

Sorry, i was not clear. If compression of cylinders are lost then you are fuck up. If not, then is an external leak. Also check your coolant if have a milkway color. Prepare for an overhaul and good idea to go forged internals for moar pawa

Looks like a valve cover leak to me. Where exactly is this located? Is this the driver or passenger's side?

If it's a head gasket leak, you'll know it. Like said, you may have low compression or antifreeze in the oil which will make it milky. You may even smell antifreeze in the exhaust. If your oil looks fine, then I would clean the engine off and put some UV dye in it. You can get it from Advance, Autozone, Walmart, etc...

Clean everything off at the car wash and then put in a small bottle of dye. Drive it for a few days and then check with a UV light. Most mechanics can do this. They can pinpoint exactly where the leak is and tell you what you need to fix it.

It's the passenger side. But the leak but be very slow as the gunk on the skid plate looked more like old soot. I'll try the dye. I haven't noticed any smell of antifreeze, let alone the grime associated with a gasket leak. So it could be the valve cover. Any idea at the cost to fix it?

No idea. But it would be a lot cheaper to fix a valve cover leak than a head gasket. I'd start with the dye and go from there.

If you've not been losing coolant its certainly an oil leak from either the rocker cover or the front cover
there's no actual gasket for either both are sealed with sealant

OEM Oil Cooler, via the capped off throttle body pieces was installed today. Wasn't very hard. The only problem was trying to bleed the coolant since the supercharger throttle body is directly over the bleeder.... Otherwise, looks great with the Stage 2 kit!

It will be fine for road use, but I think that cooler will benefit from a direct water supply from block as per the forester setup it was taken from. Its not really designed to use the throttle body feed.

I will be interested what you oil temp settles to on the highway. Do you have the low temp theromstat?

I do have the Cosworth low temperature thermostat. I did attempt the engine block option but stripped the hex bolt when trying to unscrew it unfortunately. Which is why I went the throttle body route. I'll do some data logging on the Temps soon and post them up for sure.
Since I don't really track my car, it should be OK for now.
