I was going to say GTF2 since I think they come in 35 offset 18"x8.5".
I like the relative concavity of the GTF1's plus they are strong and light. That ticked all the boxes for me at the time. I wonder if a Canadian dealer can do a better deal shipped to the US. To give a rough idea, I think I paid around $950 incl. install and 13% tax. So that's before tax approx $850 CD$, which is roughly $625 US. So if you delete install and add Canada Post ground shipping they gotta be maybe $800 max. If anyone wants a recommendation, PM me.

17x8 +30 (XT-206R)and 18x8.5 +35 (R1) are practically(1.3mm different) the same poke. (and will require the same amount of camber to fit) These two are IMO really the two options. Yes I see the 18x9 +25, but that is pretty aggressive. I also see the 17x7.5 +42, but I can't imagine that they are very concave at all.

OEM size wise I don't care as much about. I'm currently on konig oversteer 17x8 215/50r17.i kept these when I traded in my Subaru Legacy. They have my michelin snow tires. I am currently about an inch taller in diameter already than stock. The big thing for me is filling the wheel gap. The 18's with the 225 is roughly the same same diameter I have now. I like the look of the 245. Is their much of a difference in looks with a 235? I do like the 245 in 35 series just not the price point. I don't mind spending good money on quality tires but I don't care to pay a higher price due to the series of the tire. With a 245/40r18 will being lowered about an inch rub with an offset of 35? I want to go with the 18x8.5. Is it true once you go to 9 wide that you need coilovers?
