Help looking for concave wheels

Looking to run 18x8.5 all 4 corners. Tire size 225/40 /18. Lowered on eibach sportline springs. Not sure what wheels are out their that have a deep concave or something with a good size lip. I have been searching for weeks but pics don't always show how concave or the amount of lip a rim has. I have bought rims in the past that did not look like the pics once I got them. I'm also not sure on what offset I should run. I should mention I am looking for something in silver, gold, bronze or off greys. I am also looking to spend no more than 250 a rim. Thanks for any and all comments.

So many questions but at least you are sure that you will be running a stretched tire. Good to see you have your priorities in check.

You're not going to get very concave wheels or wheels with a huge lip unless you go with a widebody kit. Especially not with an 8.5" wide wheel. Some of the 18x9.5s are somewhat concave, but not all that much. Your proposed price tag also seriously limits your choices.

This thread will probably be able to help you with your search the most.

My Konig Oversteer wheels are concave. Not deep concave, but that's not possible with the positive offset range the car has with a 8" to 9" wide wheel.

+30 to +45 is your offset range for 18x8 to 18x9 wheels.

Thanks for the replies. I was afraid my budget was a little low. Maybe I will look into a wheel with a lip or not worry about the wheel being concave. Thanks

I actually have these wheels in 17's. I like them but they have my winter tires mounted on them and I want to move to an 18.

My wheels were 800 for 4. Not including tires. 1000 will buy a decent set of just wheels, though on the lower end.

Read through the wheel gallery...

The 18x9 is fairly concave.

Check out this thread I created asking for tire size suggestions for my 18"x8.5" +42 RAYS 57Xtreme wheels - they're probably going to meet all of your requirements, aside from price:

$250 a wheel for 18s and sportlines tells us that. But a 225 on 8.5" isnt that bad honestly. 225 is an OEM size for an 8" (at least on GD STIs) so .5 more isnt that much

I looked up the 245/40r 18 and I like the side wall profile better than the 225. The 225 in 8.5 looks stretched. If I go 8 wide then 225 is probably a good choice. Thanks for the replies and links.

Don't get a 245/40-18; it's an inch taller than the OEM tire diameter. Get a 245/35-18. It's almost exactly the same diameter as OEM.

I'm on Enkei T6S 18x8 and 18x9.5, they have a nice concave look.
