Idk. Movies with popcorn, drinks, and a candy is about $60-70. I can usually leave the bar for $50. Though I do only drink well drinks or order 2 pitchers. Save the good stuff for buying at home and beer gets me drunk faster for some reason

But thats why I just go on discount tuesday or weekend matinees

Yelling at a screen because you don't like what they are doing is bizarre.
When you're being chased by slowly shuffling zombies, that are dumb as hell, and you run past anything at all that could be used as a weapon (nearly everything) then those actions are dumb. It's unfortunate that anything on a screen will entertain you but I require something a little more plausible under the umbrella of the movie universe. Let's take World War Z for example. It was an acceptable movie to me. I had a few minor issues but the hero survived his initial encounters with fast savage undead by taping a thick catalogue to his arm as a shield. He didn't fall down and scream, he used critical thinking to solve the immediate problem. That's what I want to watch. The Walking Dead was very good about this. It took a lot of effort to remove all obvious options from the protagonists

So in both those examples you are saying that 90% of the population is dumb?

All 3D movies are reverse compatable in 2D, however, so I don't see why people who don't want to pay for 3D or just physically have a problem with viewing it get so upset about it.
It does strain my eyes a little but not much. Mainly, it's just fugly and stupid, like Michael Bay movies. Even worse, the decisions that go into a film to make it 3D friendly are just stupid. All these times when things or the characters head straight at the camera. For instance, in Mad Max: Fury Road, when the rig crashes and explodes, they have the stupid steering wheel fly directly at the camera. Leave that shit out, please.

Now with the 70" TV, surround sound system and Bluerays my movie viewing pleasure has increased in the last few years.
I strongly suggest OLED. The contrast and color draw me in.

Good luck coming in fresh and keeping up with multiple at a time. Its like the notes back in middle school girls used to write where every color was a different story or whatever lol

That is the plan as soon as the old plasma dies. Maybe it will just 'fall off the wall' one day in the next few months.

I never compared plasma colors to LCD, but plasma never impressed me. OLED certainly has.

I preferred plasma to LCD personally but there is no comparison to OLED.
