Yeah its hard with a whole family or a large group. Some theatres you can pick the seat online now.

Actually, you ignored certain points he made so your argument wasnt that great hence why it seemed he was repeating himself. For example you went from shoot them, to headshots, to running and getting more time to aim with Jason when in that universe shooting him anywhere does nothing unless you just dismintergrate him with a gatling gun or similar. And you still totally ignore the fear factor of someone trying to kill you. Fight or flight is a real thing. Horror movies tend to have more flight in the beginning until people figure out there is a killer and have to to grasp they are fighting for their lives. Then they fight, more die, and in the end they win

Blach! Another reason to hate Stockton. I greatly dislike assigned seating.

The funny part is I usually go to Manteca actually and they don't have assigned seats yet haha.

He said shoot them and realize it doesn't work. He brought up guns. Since we were talking about shooting I elaborated on what is done when your target is obviously not affected. If you have a gun, shoot a couple times with no affect, it's stupid to just drop the gun and be our "oh well". Like I mentioned, maybe the target has armor (since we don't know he's an invulnerable ghost yet), so you target something that won't have armor. If that didn't work, move on to the next plan. I explained that all earlier

It's a discussion on how the movies aren't exactly as dumb as many people think when you really look at it. And the argument of this vs. anime was to try and relate it. To me it seems like because they seem like people in modern times then it doesnt matter if the antogonist is supernatural they should be able to deal with it. I think everyone can talk a tough game but the shock of dealing with the shit charactors deal with in horror films would freeze 95% of people in their tracks out of fear.
I thought my premise of a fictional situation would evoke a fictional reaction was pretty clear so I am glad at least one person understood where I was going with it.

Real world reactions to movie situations:
Horror - Run and hide or stand and fight. Probably die either way
Romantic comedy - Walk away from the guy/girl being a douche/bitch and never speak to them again
Action - Blown to bits in the opening sequence
Fantasy - Nothing since the genre name describes it all
Musical - Sent for counselling for breaking out in song and dance at any given moment
Sci Fi - See fantasy above
Historical - Nobody speaks English or any other language as known today

All in all make for some very boring and short movies.

I can see where some people dislike 3D because it makes them sick, or gives them a headache, or it gets blurry or whatever. I don't think it like distracts from the storyline though. For me, and this is just my opinion, it makes it better because I feel more immersed in it. I actually have a hard time even leaving the house to see a movie unless it is in 3D. All 3D movies are reverse compatable in 2D, however, so I don't see why people who don't want to pay for 3D or just physically have a problem with viewing it get so upset about it.

See the last part of my post. You think some 16 year old high school student or 20 something frat boy is 1) not gonna just be scared shitless and lose the ability to think rationally and 2) could hit the broad side of a barn at a range let alone while trying to not die?

Sure some might, but it's a small minority.

It takes about 5 seconds to walk 20 feet. You will be carved up before you realize that you first shot had no effect. And AGAIN you are talking in the real world not the movie one anyway.

No idea why people would get upset.Im just too cheap to pay the extra money but I cant think of a single movie ever released that wasn't shown in 2D also. And they dont suffer any from it from what I can tell (visually or whatever)

He doesn't need to! It is a movie there is no reason to. He just pops up when it most convenient to the plot.
