Follow section "Proceedure to swap in new or used ECU"

Its about a 30 min process at this point just to do things safely.

The licence cost of ECUtek will pretty much pay for your OFT.

So I have been driving a stock car with a tune on it... great

I was planning to go OFT (already purchased it), but if I decide to stay with ECUTEK, do I need to update my tune, because I've been driving stock? I was also filling up shell 91 before the tuner told me to go chevron 94.

Would a tuner be able to put it completely back to stock? If so, how much do you think they would charge for something like that?

The car is still under warranty until February 2017.

The original tuner should be able to write you a stock rom to the car very cheaply maybe $20 or something to cover his time.

He should also reflash the tune thats been paid for cheaply as well as the tune and licience has already been purchased.

mate if its confirmed ecutek tune, then you have an ecutek licience in ecu thats worth $350.

And the tuner that tuned it will hopefully give you a copy of the tuned rom, that way you can reflash it if needed (ecutek roms are encrypted)

Then sell the oft you may only loose 50-100 on it.

Use the proceeds to buy and ecutek cable kit $350.

Then if you can reflash to stock with ecutek and if you get the orignal ecutek tune you can flash that back if you need to when you get header
