Problem solved re: front lip.

My car is one of, if not the, first in the country - the guys didn't realize there was a lip refresh. The part has been ordered and shipped from interstate.

This car has ample power to exceed the limit with the PSSs when you want to, and although I haven't driven on PS4s, I seriously doubt they're so sticky that the car will roll over before it slides.

The Prius tires were selected specifically for the fuel economy of their low rolling resistance. I lost a full 5 mpg when I went to wider rims and the Pilot Super Sports.
I'm not entirely sure about that... I was reading an older thread - "The tires were 1 of the 3 key design elements that Tada-san had to fight for. The other were RWD only and NON-turbo. The car was designed for the enjoyment of driving. This does not mean that it must be the fastest car in it's class. It will not win drag races, g-force competitions, or post lap records in it's stock configuration. However, it will be a hoot to drive! It is more fun driving a slow car fast than a fast car slow (you can only go SO fast before drawing excessive negative attention)."

So the tire selection was intentional as what Tada-san envisioned as part of the fun to drive equation (eg. He may have actually chosen a tire that breaks loose earlier?)

"fun" to drive is also highly dangerous and illegal on the street. so, I think other factors come into play there

Yep - highly dangerous.

This is meant to be a 10/10ths car... one of it's great features... however 10/10ths can also mean you can stuff up bad at very low speed... (I did it, albeit through diesel/oil and water... not sure how much of that was the cause, and how much was my driving).

I still chuckle when the title comes up and you have posted. Sort of mean I know but since I know what happened to your last car I find some black humour in the way it reads!

Provocative title gives many hits and feeds my car ownership ego

$45800 with floor mats, tint, paint protection, drivers pack and s pack (full STI kit), STI start button.

It's a fair bit more now... wheels, tyres, suspension, OEM audio plus...and as of today ... a turbo charger.

New lip fitted too - looks awesome

It's been a busy week.

Tcoat is undoubtedly correct, but if it's important, don't trust the paint name or the letter-code (which as far as I know, could have been invented by us here on the forum). If the three digit numeric code is the same, the paint is the same -- if it's different, the color is different. Subaru likes to play around like this, year after year, and colors you'd swear were the same, when parked next to each other, are Different!

Codes:

They remain unchanged for 2017
