great mileage!

I have about 500 miles on my car, filled up twice so far with premium. I reset my avg MPG right before work yesterday to see what this car can do.

I drive a little less than 50 miles one way, about 98% highway. I came back home with an average of ~35mpg

I never expected this time of fuel economy from this car. Although I do try to conservative when accelerating, I'm averaging about 70-75mph on highways.

I love this car! Now to figure out how to upshift smoothly from 1-2 without slowing down

Yeah I filled up right before I got on the highway to drive to my parents house and averaged 37mpg according to the trip computer over about 80 miles. I find the trip computer reads about 2 mpg high though, but I'm looking forward to seeing what I can do on my way to NEFR next month My best average for a tank so far is 32.2. Recently I have been driving it a lot harder (finally past the break in) and still getting around 30mpg. Definitely a nice change from the WRX.

On my most recent fill up I got 32.1 mpg, my best yet, and that was a combination of rural highways and city driving. I have been really impressed with the mpg of my BRZ (limited 6 speed, fyi)

TOTALLY beleive it. I went on a recent 200Mi trip on a CA highway... up and down the mountains.. driving the speed limit - roughly 55-65 the whole way and when i returned -- i filled up to verify my ODO reading of 40 ! it can be done... thats just insane.

but of course, if youre driving and having alot of fun its more like 28-30... but the range is unbelivable , isnt it.

I've been getting about 25-26 mpg, but thats with no highway driving and trying to control myself lol. Not bad, but I'd like to be in the 30's!

try resetting your mpg odometer. The original readings from the dealership can greatly skew your readings. Plus I read that dealerships use regular gas which results in lower mpg... sometimes.

Anyone figured out maximume range with reserves? Drove it hard today. 80-85 MPH.
I haven't been close to empty. Car has 1500 miles on it now. LOVE IT! This car rocks!

I certainly hope they're not using reg gas on a min of 91 gas car!
I was even thinking about octane kicker to hit suggested 93 just to get the proper feel of the engine!
I'll open the manual again and try resetting haha
