Maybe 300hp vs 165hp at the wheels.

The V6 accord comment was a joke.

They generally put more than 300 down to the wheels stock though, especially m6 versions. 320 -325 is pretty normal for a stock one that came with the ls6 intake. Ls6 cars are high 300's stock.

And yeah i got that about the accord. Was wondering if I could keep you going but... nope.

325 seems pretty darned high. From the research I've done, 300 is a good number. Of course it depends on the dyno, but 160-165 is what you'd expect for a twin stock. I have pondered a C5Z many a day, but truth be told, I want modern crash results. Then again, if I got one, it'd hopefully be fully caged.

The only cars I have seen below or right at 300 are the auto early cars without the ls6 intake manifold. 97-00.

Caged eh? Just get a c5z and don't crash it.

With 400HP on the track, I'd want a cage, seat, HANS, and extinguisher. With 360HP, I was hitting 130 on the front straight in a 4000lbs car. It'd be a wee bit faster in a C5Z.

Corvettes are nice. There's no question, in various degrees they all have balls.

My twin has top end balls and for some reason I feel I can handle it better without risking life and limb.

When I first got my twin in 2012 a cooworker scoured all over and eventually bought a C6 from NY state, orange with a beige interior. The colour combo was gross but at the time the Canadian $ was high and he got it cheap compared to local prices.
We spent almost the same amount and we sort of compared purchases. I have spent WAAY more since. For me the right Corvette could be a special car, but not just any Vette. Also I could see it eating through tires!

To me our cars can be a lot more special when customized compared to a plain Vette.
Now, a SUPERCHARGED Vette, someone made theirs special.
I just dont ever want to drive a model that could also be popular in rental fleets. Maybe thats the issue with me and domestic cars. I imagine they all smell like cheap cleaner and Windex inside LOL

The only 86 rentals I am able to find are at Nurburgring Nordschleife. Misspelled but you get my point.

And the shutle van with that same Windex smell is the same brand as the rental car.

That new Windex tainted car smell LOLOLOL

Summerwolf just burst my bubble.

F/S FR-S 49000 km spent $50K even using some used bolt ons. Maybe $18K?
Now what???? There's no replacement! Boohoo regret regret regret.
Nevermind.
