Same problem here, pretty much blocked out the last two weeks of the year with my leftover 7 days. No one had a problem with it, considering no one will be at work anyways.

I can honestly say that I've have never had this problem in my entire career. It helps that MomHawk works for the local schools so my vacation dates are basically pre-set. I can basically tell you every day I will be taking off for the next 5 years, give or take a handful of days a year I hold back for "unexpected" things. Even those I have reserved at the end of each vacation year (mine currently is based on hire date not EOY) and move if I need to.

My motto is that the only reason I work is so I can afford vacation. If I could afford vacation without working, why I would I be here?
