Hot lava tail light ideas

Hi all, after some ideas for aftermarket rear lights for an frs/gt86 in hot lava/ginger/orange.

I like the Valenti lights but they don't seem to work very well with orange, a lot of people tend to go for the smoked version but not a massive fan of smoked rear lights.

A lot of the images in the tail light thread are on white or red cars where most rear lights work. Orange I feel is more of a challenge.

Buddy club may be a good choice, interested to hear what you think.

Thanks

Honestly, I think that a smoked-out look would be pretty good for orange. It would provide a nice contrast against the orange. I feel like the red lights tend to blend in a little too much. The chrome lights are a good contrast as well.

Those Buddy Club lights are pretty sweet. I just wonder how the reverse lights are. One of my favorite things about the stock lights is that the revers lights actually light up what is behind the car while I am backing up. It makes the camera really easy to use.

If I was going to change the tails (I actually like the stock look) I would go smoked. Need to make sure that you do smoked all around the car though or then it looks silly.

I love the smoked look on Hot Lava, nice contrast piece. I smoked the stock tails since I love them, just dislike chrome with a passion.

You should do something with that Scion badge there Dave. The chrome clashes with the tails now. Would rock if black though.

You do know that the reverse lights are not in the tail lights, right?

Edit: unless of course you have the diode dynamics tail as turn with reverse module. But that won't work right with any aftermarket lights.

That is a fair observation, I'm not the biggest fan of plastidip though... It's more the blinding shiny chrome that I hate. I find the badges to be a lot more muted.

Is more the black underneath, black on each side, lonely piece of chrome in the center that makes it stand out no. Camera angle probably doesn't help either though I guess.

I'm not sure where they are. I'm always in the car when they are on lol.
