Is it bad that I read the name to this thread and thought we were talking about the currency?

Its only one of the last sports I can watch this summer. Cause I'm definitely not going to watch baseball. So thank goodness there is Euro 2012 and the Olympics this summer.

True that. I can care less about baseball also. I'm pretty tired of Spain. Watching their games are way too predictable with short pass possession game. It's driving me crazy. I'd like Germany to win but if they don't other than Spain I'll be fine.

Yeah, I think, it'll come down to Spain vs Germany... & it might end up Spain winning. I kinda want to see Italy play against Portugal in final... but I think they gonna be playing who's the bronze

As much as a fan that I am for soccer I do like the style play of Spain's short passing. They sort of remind me of the Brazilians when they are in type of mode. But yeah I just rather have everyone other team win than Spain.

Well if I wanted to realistically give a prediction then I would have Spain and Germany facing off in the finals but I'd still give Germany the nod to win it this year. They seem to be very intuitive with each other.

Well let's just say if I had bet on a team based on the woman from their country, then I would have lost a long time ago. Cause this woman takes the cake out of all the other girls at this tournament.

I agree, but I think Germany might beat Spain if they make it.

I thought Portugal was really going to have a chance to win through PK's but they lost and CR didn't get to take a kick. Sucks for them. Now for the next match, I don't see Italy standing a chance but if they do it will be a great upset.

Germany and Italy happen to be my favorite teams in the tourney (2/3 of my heritage). So, I win and lose tomorrow

And no matter what, even if Spain wins, I agree it's been a great tourney, and I bet it finishes great, too.

When I heard it went into PK's I had enough time to rush out of work and see the end. And I really thought Portugal had a chance, oh well though. Definitely taken a half day tomorrow for my Italian friends, since they know how to have a party when ever an important game is on for Italy.

Well deserved win by Italy. Germany disappoints again. I thought they were ready to win a major tournament again but I guess they aren't. If anything, Italy would be able to beat Spain.
