Worked for Delta for 10 years, and flew standby a lot, including with the family of 5 when the boys were under 10 years old. They all thought that was the airlines worked, you waited until they called you name and sometimes you didn't get on. They were completely surprised the first time we were paying customers and had reserved seats.

Fortunately for us this was back between '95 and '05 when you could actually fly standby because most planes had empty seats on them.

None of our bags are oversized. We pack light. Yelling? In our family, when are we not? We all fit in a Ford Focus with room to spare. Last two rental counters I went to had no prepaid line, and we always prepay. I appreciate your slow lane lifestyle. I need people to pass. This reminds me of test taking in school. Whenever we had multiple guess/short answer tests, I would compete to finish first.

LOL. And I need somebody to sit back, watch and feel superior too so our methods complement each other perfectly!

I like to snicker at people's grammar, syntax and spelling.

I must provide hours of entertainment then with my speed typing and lack of proofreading!
When doing work things now I have to make a conscious effort to not just let things slide like I do here.

I have seen flumes many times and although fun I am not sure I would enjoy a concert of them.

It started out as a way to move huge volumes of logs down hillsides to mills.

But then in true fashion of all people somebody one day said "I am gonna ride that bitch".
