Yeah it sprung into mind a couple hours after I replied. That's probably not feasible since I think the system is cycled via steering wheel controls? I'm not exactly worried about where I could put the gauge in software... I have no use for the boost gauge on the head unit... it's literally boost gauge #3.

Attached an image of the finished, working product. I also did the magnetic license plate mod while I had the bumper off. In pix, the LED looks like the color temp is off, but really it's the way the light reflects off the winglet in the bumper and illuminates the pearl clear coat that creates a blueish optical illusion. Installed Perrin intake tube, Perrin lightweight crank pulley, and the Invidia catless front pipe. The car definitely feels more alive especially after the pulley. Exhaust is now audible and sounds fairly good for having the stock cat-back and manifold. Also MPG went up..
Starting small and working up. OFT, Invidia overpipe, and the Invidia N1 cat-back will be next. |

Busy weekend, installed STi front lip, LED interior lights, sound deadening in doors (CLD/CCF/MLV/Thinsulate), and did some gloss black vinyl wrapping on center stack / door handles. I know the gloss black around the HU on the '17s has been controversial, I think this ties it all together nicely. I'd ultimately like to wrap the shifter surround and air vents, but I'm out of vinyl.
Sorry for the potato quality photos. |
