The funny thing is I'm trying my absolute hardest not to have gauge clutter. I want to monitor oil pressure but I refuse to add another hard gauge. Maybe I can do it in software, possibly with an Arduino if I have to.

Swap in a 17 limited gauge cluster. That'll free up some space on the upper gauge set.

I don't understand what you're trying to say. There are indicator lights above the LCD in the right panel.

He is trying to tell you the 2017 gauge cluster gives water and oil temps along with battery voltage readouts.

Yeah it sprung into mind a couple hours after I replied. That's probably not feasible since I think the system is cycled via steering wheel controls? I'm not exactly worried about where I could put the gauge in software... I have no use for the boost gauge on the head unit... it's literally boost gauge #3.

Our cars don't have the plug on the chassis side, at least that I could find (I spent a long time looking). That didn't make it hard though. I just tapped the OEM DRL power/ground on the driver side headlight, works perfectly. They give you a nice harness to plug into the lights themselves, and zip ties/mounts to run the harness along the body. So aside from having to tap the headlight wiring, install is decently clean and relatively easy. If one was handy with wiring, the whole thing could be done in an hour.

Attached an image of the finished, working product. I also did the magnetic license plate mod while I had the bumper off.

In pix, the LED looks like the color temp is off, but really it's the way the light reflects off the winglet in the bumper and illuminates the pearl clear coat that creates a blueish optical illusion.

Yeah - sorry - I didn't think about the steering wheel controls - definitely a problem.
