Thanks! i'll give them a call. I am most likely going through insurance as i want the oem glass and my deductible is $100.

Warmup is slowed even with a thermostat. Almost all of them will allow a percentage of oil to circulate through the cooler even when closed.

I checked. Not oem. Actually quieter than the subaru original.

You want it all to get hot. Burn off the schmutz.

I see. I requested oem glass when I filed a claim through my insurance (aaa) and they agreed to a price with a local shop spider autoglass. We'll see how long this windshield lasts 😂

General auto advice time.

99 Honda Accord with 90k on the clock. Car is dying while at idle after driving a couple miles. Starts up again without issue last night and today. Issue appeared yesterday by driving on the highway a while fine and then took a few times to turn over after that. Starts every time since no problem. Battery is only about a year old. Will test it anyway since I can at home but my next thought is alternator?

I'd guess alternator or distributor

Ignition coils and various faulty sensors could cause stalling as well.

What are the odds of those if driving smooth otherwise and no CEL?

Dunno, I've had a car with a bad O2 sensor with no code and another car with bad coilpacks with no code (Camry & F150 respectively) of the '90s vintage.

Camry wouldn't pass emissions and the F-150 would die on the freeway without warning, both cars 'drove smooth' otherwise.

Any great black Friday deals on car parts or services? Bought stuff last year and was a good deal.
