You are correct on the location and that they aren't indexed. Now that I'm an SCCA member I plan to get plugged into some of the local events. What ones do you go to? Information on the PNW region website seems rather outdated. Do you have a better source for event info?

I agree I can't compare the competition at a Monroe AutoX to a sanctioned SCCA event. I'm very excited to get improve myself and learn tips and techniques from better drivers.
You can run one sway bar, front or rear. But the TRD allowance lets you run TRD rear and an aftermarket front.

SCCA events in NWR are done for the year. Check back here: http://nwr-scca.org/solo/schedule.asp in February/March for next year's schedule. We're still finalizing it and then national office has to give us their dates for national tour.

To clarify: In my 2013 BRZ, C Street allows me to put a TRD rear sway bar on and still run an aftermarket front bar?

Here's my current list of mods. I'll have to take some off to be in C Street, which is a better plan for me given the ol' budget. (This is my DD)
- Grimmspeed cold air intake (remove)
- Grimmspeed front strut tower bar (remove)
- Open Flash Tablet (reflash to stock)
- Eibach Pro Springs (possibly buy Konis and a used set of stock struts)
- Stoptech Street pads (keep or upgrade to more aggressive pads for events only)
- Whiteline front camber bolts (keep)
- Enkei RPF1 17x8 with Hankook Ventus R-S3 225/45/17 (possibly put Hankooks on the stock wheels?)

Question on tires:
I think I read somewhere in the 2016 rulebook that the tires have to be less than 2 years old. Is that correct? I bought the wheels and tires off a guy on Craigslist and he'd had them for a few years so I think they're 4-5 years old.

Pads and camber bolts are the only keepers. You can not use the TRD bar (or springs) since you have a BRZ. Those tires on stock wheels is certainly an option, but it's not the setup to have if you want to be competitive - especially if they're that old.

The other option, given the fact you'll not be competitive as-is, would be to just run the car you have now in STX and see where you want to go with more time in the car competing (I'm making an assumption, perhaps you've done that already - in which case disregard.)

Thanks for the input cjd. I might try running what I have in STX and going from there, knowing it will be a learning/growing season.

The only camber bolts you can use in Street/Stock are OEM. The White Line bolts allow too much camber.

The thought was you could run the taller 235/45 tires to add a little bit to the top end. One of the better autocross runs I've seen on video is Ogburn's from 2015 nationals where his fast run on one side he shifted 4 times on course. A 2017 probably would have been a better car and you would be shifting just as many times. Shifting that many times leaves no real margin for error though.

Yea good point. I remember that run as well, I know I couldn't shift like that and make it work

NO you cannot run a TRD rear bar and an aftermarket front bar... because you have a BRZ. If you had an FR-S you'd be OK doing that.

I'll be the tie breaker. No TRD bar on a BRZ unless you want to run in STX.

TRD parts are CS legal only for the Scion FRS. The Subaru BRZ cannot use TRD parts in CS. It's a stupid rule, but it's a rule.

Well I didn't notice you had a BRZ so no, you can't do it. Just assumed you wouldn't be asking about the TRD stuff if you had a Subaru instead of a Scion.
