A filter magnet will capture more metal than just a magnetic drain plug. And you can cut the filter open and inspect it if you want.

There is a new valve with a short nipple, its F-108S, probably that one will be flush inside the skid pad. I will buy the one with no nipple and just use an old mop bucket that is high enough to prevent spill issues when draining.

Draco, how did you lift the car? Jack with 2X4?

Rhino ramps. The lip just barely touches the ramps at stock ride height. I have a couple boards I use with my STI that I'll use when I lower the BRZ.

I thought the drain plug size was M12X1.25, someone correct me, i want to get a Magnetic drain plug for my FR-S.

Received my nipple-less Fumoto valve yesterday (havent installed it yet) but it came with a nice removable plastic nipple perfectly sized for the tubing. with the plastic nipple on it looks like the pics of the nippled valves. just saying.
