So in 3 yrs this car has only done 5000 miles. That's like 1600 miles per year. One owner lease. Why? Problem with low mileage cars is that they haven't been driven enough to reveal any mechanical issues that would have been covered under warranty. Cars do not like to sit. A car that is properly warmed up and driven responsibly is more reliable long term than a garage queen. Find out what the history is and why the low mileage.

12/12 built, 53k miles, no major issues that wouldn't affect any other pre-facelift car.

The tune mentioned previously was implemented about April 2013, any car built then or later is going to be 99.5% the same as any car built until the facelifted model.

I've had a 13 for the last 4 years, and the only thing I've ever needed is the ECU reflash covered by the TSB at the dealership to keep the idle from bouncing around. Drove mine home...8/2012, so fairly early on I believe.

This. My 13 isn't heavily modified i think, but fairly modified. The only problem i have ever had was a coil pack go bad, but i think i gave the car too much gas before being fully warmed up. The part was delivered to the dealer next day before they even opened, a pita to install though.

78k on my early model 2013 "dealer demo". Only issue so far has been the squeaky clutch possible TOB issue. These cars are very reliable.

I have the squeaky clutch also, but i've had it for months, no issues besides the squeak. The bearing itself will make sounds when the clutch is pressed in, but make sure it's TOB sounds and not regular tranny sounds.

You've driven too many Ford's, or American cars. These are Japanese, we don't really have with issues like you're worried about.
But for what it's worth I'll add to the stats.

07/13 built - no issues at 36k.

My 2013 built car has been a peach. "Out of the blue" issue window squeak. "Issue that may have been caused by me" CV axle gone bad. My car is lowered -1.6" in rear.

2013 59k and the only issue I have is the chirping noise but I've heard that's normal and it doesn't happen all the time.

Had mine since August 2012, over 50,000 miles.

Clicking axles for about 20,000 of those miles, and my throwout bearing is going out. All that can be blamed on my driving habits.

Besides that, cars held up great.
