Originally, it was comparing the RC with the fr-s... But I'm completely lost by now, I could be wrong

This generation of IS 250/350 and the GS350 F Sport is not only better than the previous generation it is better than any of the Eurosled competition. VW doesn't even get close. Audi rides like a buckboard by comparison, just for example. Google Lexus IS 350 v BMW and see what pops up. |

If that's the case, then I think the 86/BRZ/FRS project probably affected how Toyota and Subaru tune handling with their new cars to a much greater extent than many would realize.

Rumour is the Subaru/FRS now sports Sachs shocks which would explain the change (improvement) in handling behaviour. |

You have to remember lexus is also toyota just the higher priced cars are called lexus in the usa. You cannot compare a scion to a lexus that is just silly.

I know this is an old post, but I was in this exact same position, except it was an IS250 f-sport vs an FRS. Initially I went to a Lexus dealership to test drive the IS.
Long story short, I saw an FRS parked in the corner of the lexus lot. I ended up getting an FRS instead. No regrets. |
