I've got all the love for F1, but just couldn't bring myself to watch very closely. My heart and brain just seems to be attrated to rally

New rules allow for crazier aero and more power (larger turbos, reduced restrictor plate, higher boost). Lots of testing getting getting done right now for next season.

Also, although my beloved Subaru won't be in the fray any time soon, at least Toyota will be joining in, albeit with the Yaris

What about GRC? I think that just ended but I always enjoy watching that on TV.

The most important thing about going fast in rallies is having a good co-driver. I prefer spirited co-drivers from the UK (NSFW):

Also, why isn't this video embedding? I thought that was done automagically by just posting the link?

I don't believe you can embed specific time signatures like that. Also, the forum script won't detect the youtube link if you post it with that "youtu.be" style URL, you have to use the regular URL.

Thanks. Problem solved. Bummer the time attribute screws up the embed. Also, the youtu.be style URLs are the default for YouTube sharing links.

Yeah, its annoying but you have to use the website and copy paste from the url bar

I do enjoy watching GRC and FIA world rally cross, both very fun "rubbing is racing" series. I could barely keep up on how points are calculated for the heats though (go ahead, look it up lol) but who cares when they are smashing each other fighting for every inch of track!

Haha, co-driving is no joke. I got a chance to try it out at the dirtfish class and it was alot harder than it looks. What you don't see from the videos is all the other jobs you have to do as co-driver like checking in, navigating from stage to stage, radioing w/ the team, etc.

Just picked up my 86 all-weather mats from my parts department. Haven't looked at them, but they feel like they replace all four mats. Hoping they didn't change from the FR-S, otherwise, I would have just wasted some money. haha.
