The 17's actually look big already since the spokes extend all the way to the edge of the wheel. Fits good too. This guy is lowered on Eibach Pro-Kit (1" drop), but running 245/40/17 tire.

So the +25 and +35 will make a huge difference? I should run +35 at all 4 corners!? Thats my fav car looking thru 60+ pages of the thread for those wheels but the guy wont answer me

Don't really notice any difference in acceleration, it goes pretty quickly (especially with the headers added).
Its very hard to notice much of a difference between 18 and 17 eh. I couldnt have guessed. Howre u liking your colour choice. When i was younger i LOVED black wheels. I thought silver was terribly ugly. But now as im getting older i think im going to go wit silver on my argento. Black just looks cheap and childish to me. More rugged. I havent seen an argento with black wheels in person though only on here. I like the silver on silver look. MKes the cAr look like even more of an aston :p thats the look im going for.

These are actually the chromium black. I'm not a fan of the all black either but I love these - they're sort of in between the black and silver rims. The only caveat with these is if they get damaged it's really difficult to 'fix' them as the chromium black paint is really tough to match. That said, at these prices just buy new ones

I'll try to get a better shot of them to show what they really look like - they're sort of a glossy greyish color really. Really classy with the argento IMHO, not boy racer at all.

Please do!!! Ive been debating hyper silver or chromium black. I think im going to go w hyper silver but id love to see yours. What front lip and side skirts are those? And what size tire are you running?

Front lip and sideskirts are ebay/chinese made CS style replicas. I like them a lot - front lip just needed to be warmed up in the sun for a bit to make it flexible/unwarped when mounting. I'll see if I can dig up where I ordered them from.

Tires are Goodyear Asymmetric 2's 235/40-18's. Very slight stretch on these rims, which helps stiffen the sidewalls a bit. When running these wheels/offset you'll need some camber up front to make sure the fronts tuck in nicely. I'll post a couple more pics when I get a chance.

Yea, I'd run +35 all-around. No need to run a staggered setup on this car. And it's better to try and stay closer to stock offset in terms of steering feel.

This car looks perfect to me. Ill be installing the trd coils toughly 1" drop. I dont know if i like more sidewall smaller rim vs less sidewall
Bigger rim. Alls i know is i dont like wheel gap. Two fingers all the way around fender would be the most gap id want. I also dont like any of the tire hidden under the fender. Especially megaflush dim hidding under fender. Still think the 17x8.25 with 245/40 is good? Or should i go 18x8.75 with 225

Whether it's 17" or 18" wheel won't effect the gap, the tire size/diameter will. So you'd want a tire size that's the same or slightly larger than the stock 24.7" diameter.

You don't necessarily need 245/40/17 unless you want the meaty/balooned look like the blue car above. Diameter is same as stock. Steering may also feel kinda heavier and less agile from the rolling resistance and grip of all that tire. I used to run 17x9 with 245/40/17...

You could get a 225/45/17 if you want a slighty stretched look. Diameter is about 25", so it'll close the gap slightly more. 225/40/18 has a diameter of about 25" as well if you go with the 18".

Haha air bags!? Really? Never knew anyone would use air suspension on a rwd sportscar. I already bought my trd coils. And i assume air is very pricey

So i pulled the trigger on some xxr 530 chromium black 17x8.25 +35. Gonna go with 245/40s. NLM had a sale, 446 shipped and taxes in for 4. Pretty decent! Probably get those bfg gforce all seasons. As in my decade of jeeping all ive ever used is bfg and ive read good things. Ill post some pics when shes done!

Welcome to owning a modern Japanese sports car. Air bag suspensions are on your left, staggered 9.5" and 10.5" wheels are on your right, welded differential discussions will start popping up daily in approximately 6 years when the car hits a valuation consistently under $10k.

Underglow is estimated to be back in style in roughly 2028.
