A wing that big on a car that slow will always be stupid, but is that "aggressive" or what?

In the FR-S I could tell roughly how fast I was going based on the racket the car was making. In the 86, you need to add about 20 mph, as 70 comes quickly and quietly.

Even then I don't think it's that different. now if he was in a stock 17 BRZ it would make a difference, there's sound deadening in the car so it seems quieter from the inside. The 17 86 doesn't have as much sound deadening, so it shouldnt sound different from a 15, this is what we all have seem to agree on the differences, and why the 86 weight less. I guess I better grab some Decible meters and jump into cars.

I test drove the new 86 and the sound is definitely different, but not by much imho. my car is stock and the car that i test drove was also stock (no trd exhaust).

That TestDrivenTV vid captured the sound fairly well. Seems strange so many people who have one, or have driven it, say it does sound different, which is not unreasonable given the changes made, yet so many say it doesn't based solely on 'tube videos. "More refined" hs been used to describe it, and that's exactly what it is. |
