That I am used to Turbo cars, much more TQ and Faster acceleration, so it is hard to go to less Powerful car to drive/race. You punch it and the N/A engine is much more Rpm dependent. The two BMW's I had made 300TQ at 1500rpms - near redline, ( N54 engine twin turbo inline 6cyl 135i and 335Xi) so no Lag, instant throttle response. Then run of many WRX/STi's were a Fast after 4k rpms. So if I hadn't had those 6 cars, I wouldn't notice or no any different driving/racing them.

The FR-S does good for a small N/A engine, whole course 2nd gear was perfect mostly above 4k Rpms which worked well except a few tight sections I dropped out of powerband.

Yeah what timing to get the car on the 11th and make 1st Autocross on 19th. It was Great Timing! Also with my brother moving I put miles on fast helping haul stuff across the city back/forth

I race all my new cars, my friends say I have car A.D.D. I just like to own/experience various cars and autocross them. Best way to learn a car is to Autocross/Race it !!! Def makes you appreciate what all it has to offer and learn the limits / how it behaves when pushed.

Stickier tires and I could have easily seen -2-3 secs.

Out of 50 entries, I was like 30th , couple secs behind a newer BMW M3 and 3-4 secs behind a S2000 that did very well !

Everyone was thrown off asking how I had car already, lots of compliments and remarks of how flat in remained through the course. I will keep eye on the Autocross page for pics to share.

After coming from numerous 300+hp turbo cars ( STi's / BMW's ) the FR-S def is an adjustment and I do miss that some, but the way the car drives/handles makes up for it on the track! 2nd gear whole track was perfect gearing, made it easy.

I played w/ a few GoPro mount locations, but liked this one w/ the 86 Logo Best
Did you have traction control on or off or what?

Everything off, it's annoying when it cuts throttle when you want to be in control
