I ended up going to a local stereo shop just to have them help me punch the two YLW power cables thru the firewall into the engine compartment - i just was too dum to figure that out -- but once i powered up - i have been nothing but smiles...

I cannot ask for anything else -- i have had a headache in the last day of driving around too loud ...

What did that enclosure cost? It's been many years since I had this done:

I don't remember what I paid for subs + the enclosure at this point. I intend to do a 10" JL W3 or W6 almost exactly as you have.

I'll be using the JL Slash Series amps from my Jeep to power everything in the FR-S (500/1 for the sub and 300/4 for speakers) off of a pioneer nav unit w/ satellite radio, ipod, and BT.

May have to be a slow buildup depending on pricing.

System works well. They charged me 250.00 to build the box and another 450.00 for install of the whole system. I do have the Nav.(Garmin) setup and I think its the best on the market. HU looks good but it does stick out a little more than I would like. I think the bottom row of buttons stick out just a little to far. Focal speakers sound very good but I think I will put in some rear speakers for fill sound. Alpine AMP went under the seat and you dont notice it at all. The sub sounds good but if I was one of the younger guys you might want to go with dual 10s or 1 12. I dont know why they didnt use the factory mic but the bluetooth works great. I also got the beats antenna and the reception is very good.Last thing Dynomat your doors because these doors are very flimsy and light. Next up coilovers and new wheels and that should do it for now.
