You really need to get out more. The Full throttle Electric Supercharger Build Thread is the most popular subject on this Forum with well over a million views and 711 pages long.
If you start reading it today you might finish it in your lifetime.

I will stick with the basics. Besides, I dont know that I have 711 pages left in my lifetime, so I will pass.

You could get a lot more out of those blowers if you put little turbos on them.

I'm 41 and the FR-S is my first frivolous car. What I'm curious about is how many "old folks" are also active modders. I need evidence to convince my wife that "a grown, non-duche man" would upgrade his exhaust so it has a bit more growl. We're talking TRD or maybe Invidia N1 or Perrin 3. I just want the damn thing to sound a bit more like a sports car.

Welcome there, middle ager ..........

Ahhhhh.......yes, middle age modding and "dealing with" the mrs.

I have found out that almost any mod is a worthwhile investment, in the mrs eyes, if it fulfills two criteria.

1. It must be "her idea".

2. It must make the car more economical or safer.

Examples of "making it more economical" mods are: open up the exhaust, open up the intake, window tinting, lighter wheels, etc.

Examples of making it safer are: LED lights, tires, big brakes, all suspension mods, etc.

Now, how to make it "her" idea ...... that totally depends on the woman. That's for you to figure out .......

I am a self confessed 57 year old low level ricer.

Noisy exhaust just to be noisy (TRD so moderately loud but my neighbours do not despise me either)

Totally non functioning spoiler.

Rear "diffuser" that ain't diffusing squat but looks pretty.

TRD drop in filter. Again more noise for the sake of noise.

RS-R Super down springs for 1 3/4 drop for no purpose other than to look good.

Dark tinted window. In Canada where they serve to keep the car cool about 3 days a year and are just there to... You guessed it. Look good.

None of these are dramatic mods but they add up to make the car that little bit different from stock.

Damn tcoat you have been here long enough to know better than to drink anything while reading posts. Now all you have to show for it is less beer and a wet ***** hahaha

Btw 37 here so i am catching up to you old farts. My wife thinks i am not acting my age when i see a tricked out honda or frs and i start fanboying. I just like modded cars. She likes french bulldogs. Even steven if you ask me. Hell, we met because she told me she had a 2002 rsx type s lol!

Anywho... i will be back later to post pics if i can ever figure out this camera thing and find a good place to do so. Kinda waiting for wheels first as i think it looks silly dumped on stock wheels. Meanwhile im off to play shuffleboard and tell kids to get off my lawn.

Yes, but are you actually Shaggy? I'd imagine years ago in UK that might have had a different connotation. LOL
