I'm surprised that not a single person mentioned the different suspensions in both cars,considering that it's probably the single biggest driving difference between both. Maybe,just maybe,that softer suspension from the BRZ could account for at least a few extra pounds in difference.

I started to disagree but an extra turn on the rear coils would add just that. Hmmm...

liner under the front hood. Brz has it but I don't think the FRS/86 does.

Nitrogen in all four tyres makes a massive difference as it doesn't absorb moisture. We all know that water is every body builders nightmare as it ruins body definition.
