The faster I drive the harder it tries to throw me.

It also tries to strangle me with the seat belt if I hit the brakes too hard.

I just can't figure out what I did to piss it off. Must be because I named it Olivia, just so temperamental.

at least your doesn't always say it's 66 degrees in 6th gear while going 66mph...therefore i called mine Christine.

Have you tried a strut tower bar? Scientifically it makes the world a better place, so the effect on your steering should be even more impressive.

I'm surprised at all the joking and condescension about this serious problem.

Mine was doing the same thing, and the dealership informed me that there is a TSB about this.

They effected the manufacturer mandated repair by removing the steering wheel and permanently disabling the front wheels annoying, steering input swivel tendency (all four tires only ever point forward now).

Steering is newly achieved via a combination of driver and passenger cooperative, door open, Subaru patented FFHD (Fred Flintstone heel drag), along with throttle, brake, and hope inputs.

No passenger? Left turns only (unless you drive on the 'hello guvna', aka 'wrong' side of the road).

Advantages - gauges newly unimpeded, annoying 'you big puassy' airbag crash protection gone, 'steering post through heart' risk - done deal, steering wheel stereo and cruise buttons 'lack of' angst eliminated.

Disadvantages - 'fuck that hurts' heelmatoma, copious door consumption.

I just came across an extra $5,000 what should I buy to make my car better? I was thinking of using it to develop an all wheel steering system to help with this turning issue. I have done the math and I figure I can improve my turning by 2%. Or should I just get light weight pulleys and an aluminum driveshaft to triple my acceleration so that steering doesn't matter.

Pretty sure a Focus RS would be the answer to your steering problem...

This is a logical fallacy.
A does not cause B.
Consider this example which disproves A causes B:
Jack the car up and place on safety stands with transmission in neural and hbrake off. Now turn the front left wheel to the left. Car does not go left. Turn right hand rear wheel to the right. Car does not go right.
Q.e.d.
