The torque curve is fatter in the BRZ..

Like everybody else said, little things add up.
Off the top of my head: Trunk liner Headlights (maybe LED headlights are heavy as hell) Spoiler - The trunk has extra reinforcements too where the spoiler bolts on Fog lights Climate control Heated seats The fancy computer in the cluster Steering wheel controls. Of all those things I listed, there's a lot of extra wiring. I think 10lbs is pretty good for all the extra stuff to be honest!

I thought I read at some point the FRS had heated mirrors too.
Also think of all the extra relays and fuses and such!
