@MaximeT has the SPL rear components and JRZ 12-32 coilovers. Hopefully he'll pickup the FLCA soon!

There is lot of things on the soon list. Slick tire first, supercharger last. A lot in the middle. A lot on the car already.

But the rear SPL is really good so far.

@CSG Mike and @CounterSpace Garage, I purchased the Cusco front lower control arm spherical bushings last week from you and they haven't been installed yet. I think this is a better overall setup for me - may I send the unused spherical bushings back to you and upgrade to the SPL Parts front lower control arm assembly?

Hi Alex,

Where can you buy these DFI tech plates? I searched on google and couldn't find them. Right now I'm using cascam, but these look like they will help my situation even more.

I was at the suspension shop today having the rear camber altered and having a bit of a chat to the owner of the shop about some bent lower control arms that were sitting on the counter. (I didn't get around to asking what car they were from). I was told the owner had had an off track excursion, lost control and clipped the edge of the track going side ways bending the arms. I asked wouldn't stronger arms be the answer and was told fitting stronger arms would transfer the force somewhere else. Sure, all elementary but not something I had considered. (I don't know what I don't know). He said it was cheaper to replace the arms as opposed to potentially bending sub-frames or bodies.

Obviously if you want to extract the very most out of your suspension, these control arms will be replaced by some nice pieces, but you're also trading it off for potential deflection in the chassis. The energy has to go somewhere...

I am suggesting for street use upgraded bushes are the best bet.

I'll put together something for you next week.

I should note that without any other mods, it makes the car sit at around almost 4 degrees negative camber static. The only thing you can change is caster.

Oh, I'm well aware of the issue with transferring collision energy further inboard. Still curious about component life.
