I actually like that the finish behind the head unit is different from the passenger panel. The center stack now looks consistent from top to bottom, and "divides" the passenger and driver areas.

Tbh, I agree with you. I think the textured plastic looked pretty dang bad, especially contrasting with the head unit plastic. I can only say that this is a nice improvement, even if it's not perfect.

Thanks a lot for those pictures, great detail.

Are there part numbers available for these cars yet? I'm interested in the gauge hood with red stitching.

Isn't perfirmance only about 1.2k more? So according to CA im guessing around 31k, since I got my limited for 29.8k otd. Not sure about NYC.

I got quoted at 31k ish OTD for DMV area east coast. This is assuming you get a limited without anything(popular package etc) and at invoice with the PP at invoice and Maryland taxes.

What is the plastic surrounded the climate controls now though? I cant tell if its the same textured plastic or if its gloss black to match the head unit now.

Either way, I think its a terrible idea. The new shape is nice, but the gloss black choice is terrible. Its gonna be a finger print magnet.

Looks like that specific part isn't listed yet, same with the head unit trim.
