I'd try to avoid Seattle if possible. Had a great time there this month, but the traffic is just as bad as the Bay Area here in Cali. I guess I'd have to pick the lesser of two evils...bad traffic, or all the crap I listed earlier. haha

Oregon is in a total funk right now because of the influx of people moving here from other states. There are more people than jobs now, and the cost of living (housing) has skyrocketed, but wages haven't seen the same increase.

Dang, not what I wanted to hear. That sucks. On the bright side, you guys have more respectful people.

Well then cross Washington off your list immediately. I'd take California drivers over Washington drivers any day of the week. You can predict aggressive drivers. You can't predict clueless, lost, ignorant, selfish drivers AT ALL.

Here, great reading for everyone. Very funny: https://www.seattlerex.com/the-worst...-dissertation/

See, the Seattle Surrender is a move born of complete and utter self-centricity. It might help you understand if you picture the driver ahead of you thinking “meeeeeeeeeeee!” the entire time they’re driving. Because that’s exactly what they’re doing.

With Vancouver right on the other side of the bridge. Its best of both worlds. I know Peacehealth and Keizer are always hiring, if your in the health field. With engineering a bunch of my friends just got hired on at Daimler right after their internship.

edit- I just reread your message and it said to exclude those fields. Sales is a good opportunity. Lol

That's odd. In the 9 days I was in Washington, I barely experienced bad drivers. What you described are California drivers. lol. On the way to my first day back at work, some idiot, right when I'm about to drive through the intersection on my green light, decides to make a right turn against his red light. I honked my horn, and he looked at me like I was the one who did something wrong.

Then you have people who don't follow stop signs, just going when they want to even if you gotten to the intersection first. People who cut you off without using turn signals or clearing themselves. People who make right turns in front of you, but then drive hella slow. It's all bad here.

lol. Was about to say I was excluding those.

Crap, I was hoping I wouldn't end up in sales again. But hey, maybe the people up there are more realistic and less entitled.

I kinda agree and disagree. When I go up to Washington it's the freaking Oregon plated cars that plant themselves on the left lane on the I5 and ignore the "Keep right except to pass" signs.

Then I get to the metro areas and the Washington plated cars don't understand what a turn signal is or how to use it. They cut people off all the time and there's near misses everywhere where there isn't a crash.

And now to California. Talk about road entitlement there. Screw every rule or guidance in driving. It's survival of the fittest there. LOL.

Lol. I did notice the campers, but I just figured it's cuz you guys actually obey the speed limit and lots of people drive slower.
