Which one do you have? The valenti/valenti style or just the bulb?
I wired directly into my light no problem. Black ground wire spliced to black ground wire, and the other two are different for all lights as the color is usually off. Used only the red splice clips also. Re-used them for my RB diffuser and they work fine too lol.
