Very cool design Eric. Is that the "baffling" for the AOS? I really like how the fins act as diverters to drain.

Yes, that is the baffling.

More photos of the first few units being assembled are below. Installed the first unit on my car as well over the weekend for the install manual(s).

Anodized fittings

Cap with coalescent filters

Prototype unit showing that the filters are removing oil from the airflow, on both sides of the PCV system.

Installed photos

We ordered production on our rear spat design as well, so sharing some images of the final design we went with. The unit will be made from 2x2 twill carbon thermoplastic and bolt to existing holes in the bottom of the car.

We finalized the PERRIN performance WRX gurney flap analysis and posted up a blog about it. ANSYS really is pretty neat, we're looking forward to learning more and continuing developing our skills and products using it!

Cool stuff, Eric, but the last couple images don't look like a BRZ to me. Is the flap also usable on BRZs?

Must be the wrx version pictured, however there is a gurney flap available for the BRZ as well.

You're correct, I amended my post. Just wanted to share a cool blog (to us) about an analysis we recently performed. It's for the 2015+ WRX.

Did they install something else on the rear bottom? Cuz bottom airflow is different as well... or that gurney changes the airflow of the bottom as well?

That is correct. Just how a gurney flap changes the flow under a rear wing, it does the same for a car.

Still working on getting the 1300s dialed in, at very low pulse widths the injectors have a hard time injecting precise amounts of fuel. It's significantly improved already with very few hiccups, thinking after I run some 91 through it and hit it with a few more flashes she'll be near OEM driveability. Anyway, here's a video below of the car idling just on port injectors, these things are LOUD! First time I fired the car up with the new injectors I thought the engine was knocking at first.

Installed our slanted hood louver design on my car for some product photos. Some people did not like the looks of our initial louvers, so we redesigned the louver detail.

-These are prototypes, wickers are not installed because I didn't have any at the time of install.
-These fit in the same holes as the previous design.
-I need to clean up the louver cut yet, which is why you see the white peaking through.
-The logo is a vinyl sticker, which we are including with kits moving forward for those that want to place it on the louvers.
-They only look different close-up, far away they look roughly the same as the previous design.
-We assume similar results, potentially a bit less evacuation since they are slanted.

Small louver comparison

Large louver comparison

Been doing a ton of assembly lately, whether that hardware or actual product. Here are some photos of the AOS going together!

Each mesh ball gets a sonic cleaning before being installed into the cans for half an hour.

Sonic cleaned stainless mesh, nestled in its final resting place in the AOS

Coolant passage port uncovered

Coolant banjo bolts installed. Came out better than I had hoped!

(3) fully assembled units

Thanks,
Eric

They are coming shortly, taking a bit longer than we wanted to produce but they're still on their way. Hoping next few weeks.
