It's on my list of things to do in the event of a lottery win.

Definitely save and supercharge the one you have now. Definitely definitely definitely. You'll thank all of us later when you have a car completely payed off with a beastly FI system installed.

Well, from the original list I started crossing out items and making substitutions to create more reasonable lists. I really don't need to spend 27K in parts for my car. As much as I would love a set of RS05RRs powdercoated glossy bronze, TSW Nurburgrings will do just fine. I think I have lists for 27K (master list), 15K, 7K, and 4K.

My list was much shorter and cheaper. It is also complete.

You know, for someone who puts as many miles on their car as you do, I think you should know that Velox splitters and diffusers make noticeable improvement to your mpg. Especially if combined with their rear diff upgrade and the JDM under panels. More efficiency is always better.

I don't think I will do much better than the 35 mpg average I get now. Besides since the bottom of my bumper looks like a chainsaw was taken to it and most of the plastic splash guard under the rad is missing I would not give a splitter much of a life expectancy. Although I have embraced my inner ricer and wanted a "diffuser" for the rear simply to look nice I don't think I could ever have the looks of the Velox grow on me. I could never get over the feeling I should find a giant potato to slice up for fries.

You get 35 mpg? I get 24. That's the one reason I halfway regret not getting an automatic.

In any case, I'm definitely not in the "I need a new car" group, just was thinking out loud I guess.

thanks for the input

Yep, but 98% of my driving is at 75mph, on open highway, with cruise on. I can frequently do 150 minutes of my 2 hour commute and never touch a pedal. The joys of a busy but uncrowded highway system where I drive. It makes a difference.
Oh, and mine is not an auto.
