For me, they only became the pretty good old days after many years of reflection. The best days are right now. I don't think I would appreciate the mundane days of today nearly as much as I do if I didn't have the lessons and memories of the struggles from my youth.

I guess I live a bit different but my "good old days" run in ten year instalments. Am currently almost half way though the fifth cycle. Some cycles were better than others yes but they all had there good and bad points. Don't think I have reached the mundane yet though. Maybe next cycle if I don't start or do something new.

Mine were that way too, except (SHARING TIME) due to bipolar disorder and other fun, my cycles can last minutes, weeks, months....There's only so much I can take though. I get... Just... Tired

I think I'd take my last 3yrs of my 30s over my enitre 20s for sure. I know what I want out of life by now and I can afford shit.
