The thing is I do want to track it, I'm gonna have to talk to the dealer. Maybe just order the car without the PP but once it gets released have it installed? I wonder if they would do that

Sure they would if you throw enough money at them. There are much cheaper and just as good aftermarket options though.

That's so true too, I'm gonna end up with coils and new wheels anyways. What did you end up doing?

Mine is a DD and the brakes work great. Almost a 100K miles and still on the factory pads (98% highway driven).

I ordered 2 more BRZ's (one auto, one manual) for my store.

Update is that Subaru has removed option to add performance package, but existings VONs with the performance package are still listed with an ETA month.

My small dealership which only has an average inventory of 60-70 cars per day is being allowed 1 BRZ per month so right now our BRZ pipeline shows October, November, December 2016 and January 2017. We still have one unused BRZ order which will probably be given February.

Best bet for prospects would be to order from bigger dealerships if you want one sooner than later.

Our BRZ with PP still shows ETA of November. So far there is no *HOLD* or cancelled status.

Why can't my dealer in Chicago order a PP?! They haven't even placed the order yet

Key words being "so far"!

They were very clear in the press releases that the PP would not be available until March. Could be that somebody screwed up and didn't enter that fact in the system and they just caught it.

We ordered our BRZ with PP one day after Subaru announced Orders were available.

Now that I think about it, we should've added the PP on the 2nd BRZ we ordered. We didn't know that they would remove the option a few days later...

That's correct and if that really is the case, then the regional manger would probably replace the unit with another BRZ (non-pp) and e-mail statements to the customers that there was an error.

Hmm..... I wonder if this will mean that if you want a normal Limited you'll be able to get it at a better price and have more to choose from because everyone and grandma and I'm sure my grandma does,

Want the PP option.

...including me

I just got an email from my sales rep that my vehicle is on a boat on its way to BC and she will look into ETA on Monday.

Has anyone been able to negotiate a price less than MSRP? I havent signed anything yet, but looking to see what I can get way with.
