Quick question must you run headers? If not how much power are you losing on stock manifolds. Thanks,

HKS recommends that you run the HKS manifold. In theory you could still run the stock manifold, but we have no data on how much power loss that would be. If you're running the HKS tune, it was tuned for the HKS manifold also.

I did put a k&n air filter in and recently sprayed the maf sensor with maf sensor cleaner and it ran much better. Now it's doing it again. Wonder if more oil got onto the sensor.

The rough start is not your SC it is your E85, On E cold starts are interesting.

anyone tried the smaller pulley kit on 93/98 onctane fuel? I do not think we need 700cc injectors to run with the smaller pulley with straight gasoline? Does anyone have set figures of pressure for smaller pulley kit? And if it's an HKS part upgrade, anyone have the part number by chance?

Thank you very much.

Part number is 12002-KK001.

As for running the smaller pulley on stock injectors, I would not recommend that.

ill have videos up soon once i fix the crank pulley pin that i bent.

Your setup is much different from the V3 we are running. Looks like you can recirculate a bit differently.

v1, v2, and v3 all are able to run a recirculating bov or bypass valve like the kits are supplied with. you just need to make sure you are running the correct spring inside the bov and a tune wouldn't hurt. are you still running the draw through maf? or did you go speed density with a blow by maf? if you are using a draw through maf you can locate the bov anywhere you want but if you use a blow by then it needs to be furthest from the maf sensor as possible.

i would recommend better fuel (e85) or consider water meth injection if youre adding more boost then 9-10 psi.

p.s. evasive performance sells the pulley upgrades

Yessir, I believe I was told by the tuner that the HKS intercooler is already almost at its limits with regular gasline at stock setting of .6bar, so I have not gone the way with bigger injectors/pump to go with gas.

Did you guys swap out the oem pressure sensor, I was talk it max out at at .38bar, but most of air flow is still metered with MAF sensor close to the airbox, does swapping out a 3bar sensor make any difference in terms of power/feel? Thanks.

i didnt need one with the stock set up from HKS, but when adding more boost and removing the restrictor plate you may... also keep in mind im on the version one kit. the 2nd and 3rd version kits are different. i didnt need a 3 or 4 bar pressure sensor with the base kit and i believe the second and third versions were able to accomplish more power with less boost pressure and impeller speeds on the compressor so i doubt a base kit would need to upgrade. i will swap out my sensor with a 3bar when i remove the restrictor/reduce pulley size more and tune the car with james martin on the 21st. ill let you know how that goes.
